Elevating an historical beer brand’s identity to seamlessly usher it into the modern age.
S:t Eriks Bryggeri is one of Stockholm’s oldest and most iconic breweries with a history dating back to 1859. In a bid to elevate the brand in order to remain relevant among a modern audience, Bryner’s ambitious task involved a full re-positioning of the brand. With a fresh new visual identity combining elements from contemporary Stockholm culture with the brand’s rich heritage, and a new color-palette based upon its various flavors. The new identity consisted of an updated logotype, a new typography, a redrawn and stylized icon of the saint S:t Erik and an additional symbol of the original brewery at Kungsholmen, Stockholm. The updated design was implemented on the bottles, cans and secondary packaging.
